MEET TRANSFORMATIONS PAST WINNERS
In this red carpet event, ten local women are chosen and compete on behalf of a local charity of their choice. The competition includes real pageant components such as evening gown, talent and on-stage question. This fun-filled event; however, has a twist in that each competitor is paired with a female impersonator. The female impersonator, or "consultant" if you will, assists in "transforming" their assigned competitor.
Doors open at 6:00pm for libations and happy hour. The show will begin at 7:00pm as all 10 contestants, along with the show's host, Deja Brooks, start the competition with a fabulous opening number followed by gown, talent and on-stage question, allowing competitors to showcase their "transformed" beauty and talents. A panel of 5 judges will be judging the evening's events. Between event components, allowing competitors the opportunity to change from one outfit to the next, the female impersonators take the stage to wow the audience with their talents. At the conclusion of the event, one competitor is crowned as the winner with her named charity winning thousands of dollars. The Gala will be catered by Maceli's and include a Cash Bar by Liberty Hall.
Transformations is now in its 5th year and under the principal of "Deja Brooks Presents." The idea for Transformations has morphed from its original fundraising event to one in which the community at large benefits.
